Our trusted, growing and flexible workforce is ready to meet your needs!

Each of our representatives is hand selected after a series of explorative interview sessions, and then, through our proprietary compatibility measurement system, is matched to a portfolio type for training.  Every PCA employee is not only committed to the company value drivers, but is also measured and rewarded on their demonstration of these values.

We strongly believe the key to our excellent service is the quality of our processes, systems and collection philosophy (The PCA Way). Our training and development programs are intended to help businesses collect effectively, providing the highest levels of quality service with recovery results. Our purpose is to earn the respect, confidence, and loyalty of our clients through education, consultation, negotiation and strict compliance with all local, state and federal regulations. Therefore, compliance starts from the first day an agent enters our business and lasts throughout their entire career.

In addition to the intensive two-week standard new hire training, each representative also receives specialized training in specific areas of their designated market.  For example, those representatives selected to become deceased care agents receive additional training in the areas of:

  1. Grief Training from an accredited grief trainer
  2. Sensitivity Training including identifying and responding to the stages of grief
  3. Estate and executor training
  4. Claim filing and Probate courts

Whether a new PCA employee or one of our tenured associates, each valued member of our team receives ongoing training throughout the year in both industry standard subjects such as skip tracing, effective negotiations and understanding the economy, as well as client specific training.

The Phillips & Cohen Associates, Ltd. Training and Development program motivates our team of professionals through leadership, integrity and innovation (The PCA Way = 'Best in Class'), while focusing on the importance of achieving individual, company and client goals. During the training program we integrate profitable strategies addressing the credit and collection concerns of our clients, consumers and the business community. We explain the importance of quality v. quantity to enable our ability to grow, provide personal success, professional opportunity and recovery results.

Our training and development program is designed to teach PCA employees the necessary skills to conduct business in a professional and profitable manner, while leading them into the future of successful debt collections in today's growing industry.
